Switching between profiles

One account, several people, and how to be sure whose records you are looking at.

One ChartKey account can hold several people's records: your own, a child's, a parent's.

Switching

Use the profile control at the bottom of the sidebar (or the header on a phone). It lists everyone you have access to. Pick a name and the whole app follows: Chart, Timeline, Keeper, and everything else are now about that person.

Knowing whose record is open

Two reliable signals: the name at the top of the screen, and, in Keeper, a small chip reading "Talking about" with their first name whenever you are on someone else's profile. No chip in Keeper means you are on your own record.

This matters more than it sounds. If Keeper says it sees no conditions and you expected some, check the profile before anything else. A newly created profile with no connected clinic is genuinely empty, and Keeper is being accurate.

Adding someone

From the care circle screen, add a profile for the person you help care for. You will be asked to confirm you are authorized to manage their records, which is a real declaration, not a checkbox to click past.

Seeing everyone at once

The care circle overview shows each person you manage side by side, which is usually the fastest way to notice that something needs attention on one of them.
