ChartKey

Reading your chart

What ChartKey shows, where each piece came from, and why it may not match your portal exactly.

The Chart screen is the organized view of what your connected clinics have shared, grouped so you can find one thing quickly.

What you will usually find

Not every organization shares every category, and the mix can differ between two of your clinics. An empty section usually means that organization did not send that kind of information, not that nothing exists.

Where each item came from

Every item in your chart came from a clinic you connected. ChartKey does not invent entries, and nothing you say to Keeper is silently filed as a clinical fact: notes you add are stored as your own notes, labelled that way.

Why your chart may differ from your portal

Your hospital's portal shows the record as that hospital keeps it. ChartKey holds a copy of what the hospital shares through a standard interface, which is a defined set of information rather than a screen-for-screen mirror. Two ordinary consequences:

If something looks wrong rather than merely missing, see Something looks wrong in my records.
